Griffith Journal of Law & Human Dignity (GJLHD)

Michelle Gunawan is studying a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Government and International Relations at Griffith University. She was a New Colombo Plan Australian Government Scholarship recipient for Mainland China in 2015 and lived in Beijing for 12 months. Michelle has volunteered with organisations such as the Beijing Yilian Legal Aid and Research Center of Labor and the Hong Kong Refugee Union, and is currently Special Issue Editor of the Journal's upcoming ‘Gender, Culture & Narrative’ Special Issue. Her key research interests include intersectional feminism, employment relations (global and domestic), and international environmental and refugee law.
